Where can I get Doula Trained to have all the certifications.

 Does anyone know of any websites that will tell me what I need to do to become a doula and where I can find classes in my area. I am in the Cincinnati area at the moment. Please let me know. I need to get this done as soon a possible. Thanks!

My name is Chrystal.. I went to a Doula Training workshop through tolabor.org    They have them I think twice a year.. I LOVE being a Doula,.. Where in Cincinnati do you live? I am from there but moved to KY to be with my hubby!  Hope to talk to you soon.. good luck!!

I live in reading now. But im from sharonville. My babies father is from KY. Fort thomas. He has family all over northern KY and corbin and went to morehead. What part of ky you from. Anyway im 18 so do you have any advice for finding work after I get done with training?

I'm in Covington area.. by Ft.Wright.  The trick is to get your name out there.. I have only had 3 births so far.. I have 2 lined up for this year.. Everything is word of mouth right now.. I have business cards and a website Im working on..

I go to reading every Thursday and some Tuesdays to play trivia at Foleys on Benson...

Thats so funny. my family goes to foleys. Haha everyone at reading is usually at one of the 50 bars we have in the mile radius of this city. I live on top of the hill by the high school about two blocks away.

My dad lives up off Hunt rd... I play on 2 trivia teams at Foleys.. Tuesday is Music trivia and Thursday is regular trivia.. its so much fun... Music is my favorite.. I actually know some of the answers..LOL

No... I grew up in Greenhills.  Ive lived all over.. Hamilton, West Chester, Western Hills,... Never Reading..    How old is Savannah??   I have 3  Kayla is 14, Mikey is 12, and Ian is 7.. I am also a nanny to 3.. I am trying to get out of that.. 3 years is long enough.. I am trying to find something that is flexible with my Doula Jobs... that is what I want to do.. but its hard to find something that will let you just leave cause you have a mom in labor... I'll find something..

Savannah will be 11 months on the 28 and turns 1 on April 28. Im thinking my nurses aid job will work well with me being a doula because i work night shifts on friday and saturday only and its much easier to get off on night shift than day shift so im gonna talk with my supervisor when i find some classes.  Shes really flexiable with my school schedule so i dont see a problem.
