Are there specific reasons you disliked it so much?

I guess I lost IQ points cause I didn't think it was that bad. 

My hubby and I watched it together and both felt the same way. This wasn't the next best thing to hit the fantasy genre but IOHO it wasn't that bad. I'd probably give it an average rating. Some of the fight scenes were very cool. If you are looking for a film that follows the storyline from the original Dungeon Seige film (which we have) then this film isn't for you. We have the game and have both beaten it so we were hoping that it wouldn't be a recap of the game.  

The guy that directed this has a track record of really butchering movies based on games. After being horribly disappointed twice before, we went into this without very high standards, so maybe that is way it wasn't that bad for us.

I am also curious what it was about the film that really turned you off to it. We only watch it once and sent it back, so maybe it was something we missed while dealing with our youngest, etc.

I have both Dungeon Siege games and loved it. This movie in my opinion is a giant piece of shit.  No one should of given the director 60 million dollars to make this.

Horrible acting, horrible music, campy as hell, cheesy special effects, horrible actor picks. It was just all in all a horrible waste of my time, I want my two hours back!

We want the second Dungeon Siege game but need to upgrade our video card first.

It sucks that the movie was such a bad experience and you didn't get any enjoyment out of it. I've been there before. To be honest, I wanted my money back after seeing the Two Towers. I was so mad that I refused to see Return of the King in theatres. And this is after seeing Fellowship 4 times in Theatres.

Anyway, i wouldn't buy this film. I also wouldn't pay top dollar to rent it. We pay a monthly flat fee for Blockbuster at home (like Netflix) so we aren't out that much money at all. 

However, i did not know they gave the director 60 millions.... I wonder what he spent it on.... After ALone in the Dark, I don't expect a lot from this guy.

Ya, I wouldn't go out and upgrade just for Dungeon Siege, It was so-so looking and was kind of weak as far as games go.

I did just upgrade my video card to a 8800 Gt from Nvidia so I could play Age of Conan when it comes out on the 15th!  Fucking YA, I'm finally done with WOW.

When we bought our computer we sacrificed a decent video card for more Ram and processing speed. We didn't have a lot of cash to work with. It's only a year old but can't keep up with today's games. I have a small SIMS 2 addiction - they own my soul - and I need the upgrade for that and Guild Wars. Not to mention anything else that's come out recently. I'd love to get Elder Scrolls Oblivion but again, I need an upgrade.

Elder scrolls and Oblivion were eh, in my opinion but then again I've been playing WOW for almost 5 years..

Well everyone has different opinion. For example many people love Desperate Housewives. I think its one of the dumbest shows on TV. Different stokes for different folks.

This is totally off subject but Serenity7, is that David Tennant in your profile pic?  I hope so! That's totally awesome if it is!!  I LOVE DR. WHO!! w00t!  Sorry, back to bashing a movie I've never seen...LOL!
