My daughter is  trying out for  volley  ball today.  Shes in 7th grade . Try outs started yesterday and  she said she  felt  that she did good. Shes short and little so  volley ball really isn't the  "perfect "  sport  for her . i went in  to  ask a  few questions about game days.  To make sure  she could make it to them .. and all the girls that where  also  trying out where TALL . some where  REALLY TALL .

i am kinda worried .   Shes never not made  it . Shes never not done  good. But this is a whole new world to her .  ::sigh :: i just have to wait to see what happens .

Did she make it?  I know it is harder on the smaller ones, but that doesn't mean it can't happen! At my daughters school (7th grade) they look for the really all around athletic girls. It also helps if your duahgter has played before. They do A and B teams. The 10 best on the A team and then 15 on the B team. Is that about how they do it at your school? Our school had almost 100 girls go out for athletics so the majority do not make the team. My daughter did make the A team, but she plays select soccer and has played club volleyball for two seasons. She is very athletic. All the girls on the A team are pretty much the same athletically (word?) The B team is a little more relaxed, but not much.   Good luck!

OMG wow    i forgot to update !! YES !!! SHE MADE IT .  He best friend did not .  that was kinda sad but that's the game .

Shes had a  few games and shes good .  There are  2 other  small girls on her team and  WOW they play  so  hard .  They   give 100 % .  I think they play  harder  then the tall girls.  They  definitely mean business .
