Please feel free to introduce yourself.

I'm a former IM (intended mother) in California.  DH and I found a fantastic GS to carry our baby for us, and our son was born 10+ months ago.

Hello Ladies,
Im Tosha. Currently looking for IP's. If I can ever find IP's I will be a GS. Im curious as to the surrogacy journey from  the IM's point of view. I hope you dont mind me being here

Welcome to our little group.  You're more than welcome here, and I hope us IMs and former IMs are able to give you some info that'll help you find IPs for you to be a GS for them.  It's the most wonderful gift you could give a couple.

If you've got any specific questions relating to IPs, please don't hesitate to send me a message - been there, done that :-)

Hi!
I am a IM of a 2 year old via surrogacy and a 13 year old via adoption.
Long story but after loosing 2 children in the fox/adopt sys in CA a friend of ours who always wanted to be a surrogate but didnt find the right family offered to have a baby for us.  Initally she agreed to be a GS....wouldnt work in my case because of my previous Ovarian Cancer so she decided to become a TS.  We had a wonderful journey and I was able to experience every thing from conception to birth, including all the fun stuff inbetween! We now have a beautiful daughter who will be 2 tomorrow and a wonderful son who is a TEENAGER now....and a amazing blended family.  Our friend/TS lives about 10 mins from us so we see eachother regularly......

So thats our family story!! Looking forward to meeting you all!
Good Luck!

Congratulations on your successful TS journey.  I hope the dreaded cancer is gone now, never to return.  I dealt with that myself 3 years ago - in my eye of all places.  Welcome to the group.  I hope it becomes more active.  Lots of info here from those of us who have been through this.

Hello!  I'm Melissa and after 5 long years of TTC, I'm thrilled to announce that my friend is pregnant with our first baby!  This is all very exciting, but I'm having trouble finding other soon-to-be moms in my situation... I would love to hear about other IM experiences.

Hi Melissa - sorry to be so long replying.  It's been a busy month.

I'm a former IM - our son is now just over 2 years old.  What a long and stressful journey surrogacy can be, but well worth it in the end if all goes well.

Please feel free to contact me if you've got any specific questions, and keep us posted on how things are going.

Hi my name is Stephanie. My hubby and I are looking into IVF to have another baby. We have one together, he has one from a pervious relationship. Oct 2007 I had to have a hysterectomy. My sister would be our Gestational Carrier. I found a place that works with my hubby's insurance. I saw that as a little ray of light from god. Any info you ladies have would be great.

Hello!  I'm a former IM in Illinois.  My husband and I used a GS to carry our daughter and she is now 5 months old.  It took me 12 long years of ups and downs to get to this point, but I can now say the struggles are worth it!
