finally....after many years of frustration and trying different ways to have a baby....Avani is here. We went the traditional way using an attorney with artificial insems using a reproduction endroconologist and after 5 months of trying we received the news in April of this year that we were pregnant.
it has been a long trying pregnancy as my poor surromom had so many complications, mainly, complete placenta previa and gestational diabetes and was on bed rest for 2 months. she had an emergency c section on december 2nd due to bleeding and Avani was born at just 35 weeks. her drs says she is a young baby and is acting her age.....she needed oxygen, temperature monitoring, ivs, antibiotics, and heart and breathing monitoring.
thankfully she is off of all of that but is still in the nicu as she doesn't feed well.....they say she could be there another week or two. so we are in maryland in a hotel until we can take the baby home. here is a pic of my princess.....
