hey ladies

my surrogate is having a rough beginning. since shes been prego we have been to the e.r. times today is number 4. this time however dh is with her giving me a break from sitting for hours. i feel so bad for her. her first e.r. visit was for the constant vomiting, the second she was bleeding with clots, the third she was bleeding a bit more no clots, this time she threw up blood this morning. we have had 3 sonos and they saw the baby and we heard the heartbeat twice. so far thats been good. im guessing her vomiting blood is due to all the vomiting she has done which has damage her esophogus lining? thats what i read on line. she had 2 good days no vomiting but today she did and there was blood. anyone else gone through this or know someone who has? im so nervous and hope this pregnancy goes well and i feel so bad for her.

I'm sorry to hear she's having such a rough time. This must be so stressful for you all too! Have they been able to give her anything for the vomiting? I had severe morning sickness with my pregnancies, so bad that I needed a pump of medication that I had to wear in my thigh for several months until it passed. Is this an option? I also took some pills orally for one of my pregnancies that worked like magic. But since she is so early in her pregnancy it might be to early for anything to be done. I know ginger tea is something that helps too and ginger candy. I hope all goes well. Good luck.

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear about the problems you and your surrogate have been going through.  Hopefully by now things have calmed down for her.  That's got to be a ton of added stress nobody needs.  Please keep us posted.
