Mexican Chalupas

1 pound pinto beans
3 pounds pork roast -- fat removed
1 tablespoon cumin
2 cloves garlic -- minced
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon picante sauce
salt -- to taste
pepper -- to taste
corn chips
lettuce -- chopped
tomatoes -- chopped
green onions -- chopped
avocado -- chopped
cheddar cheese -- shredded
Picante sauce

Combine all ingredients well and cover with water. Simmer in Dutch oven or
in crock pot for 10-12 hours, adding more water as needed. Roast will cook
to shreads. Fish out the bones. Serve over your favorite corn tortilla
chips.
