Chocolate-Oate Toffee Bars

6 tbsp butter
1 cup flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
3 tbsp light corn syrup
1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup English toffee bits or almond brickle chips

Preheat oven to 450 F.  Grease a 9 inch square baking pan.  In a large
microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.  Stir in the flour, oats, brown sugar, and
corn syrup.  Press into the prepared baking pan.  Bake in the preheated oven for
8-12 minutes or until golden brown.   Place on a wire rack.  Sprinkle with
chocolate chips.  Let stand for 5 minutes.  Spread the chocolate over the
crust.  Sprinkle with toffee bits and pecans.  Refrigerate until the chocolate
is set.  Cut into bars.  Makes 15 bars
