Brown hamburger with onion, garlic, dried basil & oregano.  Add some cooked rice and simmer together.  Cut the top of the peppers off & clean out the membranes & seeds so they look like a bowl.  Spoon the rice/beef mixture into the peppers.  I use my own spaghetti sauce but if I'm sure it would taste fine with jarred sauce if you don't have any  made.  Pour the sauce into the bottom of a 13x9 pan place the peppers in the pan and bake at 375 for 1/2 or so.

I wouldn't even thaw it for this dish.  Just start the heat on low in a skillet/fry pan, as it cooks you can crumble it and break it up then add the onions & garlic.

cut the peppers in half...scoop out the seeds and ribs. Brown up ground beef with onion and garlic salt. Make Rice. Mix rice and beef together when done. Put into peppers. Top with beef gravy. Put in oven and bake until peppers are done

Hollow out your peppers and rinse them with cold water, save the tops, just cut out the stem.

Mix together:

Ground round - 3 lbs.

1 - med. onion - diced

3 - lg. cloves garlic - minced

3 - eggs

1/2 - 1 cup - Italian style bread crumbs

1 cup  - Minute rice ( not cooked )

After you mix this well, stuff the peppers and place tops on (if you want to use them).

Place in a roasting pan and then cover with tomato soup ( with water ) or any kind of sauce you like. I prefer to use Hunts spaghetti sauce but my husband likes it with the tomato soup.

Bake at 350 degree oven for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until reaches 165 degrees.

I always serve with mashed potatoes and a veggie.

Enjoy!
