I used to buy this in a box, it was made in a bundt pan and had a filling in the center. My husband loved this cake and they no longer sell it. Can anyone help me figure out how to make the filling so it won't absorb into the cake batter??

Your best bet would be to make your bundt cake, cut  the top layer off, scoop some of the cake out, add the filling and replace the top.  I don't know of any pudding that you can bake in the center of the cake without it absorbing into the cake.  I've make lots of Boston Cream Pies as that is one of my husband's favorites.
