looking for a recipe for pepper relish

i hope someone came help me. i'm looking for a recipe for pepper relish. it has green peppers and vinger in it . i don't know how much.   my grandmother use to canned it in the 70's but she died and never wrote any thing down.

12 green peppers*
12 red peppers*
12 onions
Cayenne, or any hot  peppers (as many as desired)
1 pint white vinegar

Grind (or chop in food processor) peppers and onions.
Mix vinegar, sugar and salt in a large pot.
Bring to a boil.
Add relish mixture and bring to a boil again.
Boil for 5 minutes.
Put mixture in hot jars.
Process in water bath for 5 minutes to seal.

* I leave out the bell peppers and only use hot peppers. I use as many that will fit the recipe. Also, use any kind of hot pepper -- cayenne, jalapeno, etc. This is a very old recipe and really is good and HOT if you only use hot peppers. Be sure to wear rubber gloves.
