still good?

I pulled a ham out of the freezer and there is a cut/ rip in the plastic side...do you think the ham is still good?

If it hasn't discolored of have freezer burn, my guess is, it is still good. But being the anal retentive I am, I would slice the exposed part off, and commence to a cookin'.
