Cheddar-Swiss Strata
Large cubes of Italian or French bread are soaked in a cheesy custard
and baked until hot and puffy for a brunch or casual supper dish.

Serves: 6
Prep. time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes

- 6 cups French bread or Italian bread, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's® Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
- 1 cup milk
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

ARRANGE bread cubes in greased 2-qt. shallow baking dish. Mix soup,
milk, eggs and cheese. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Uncover. BAKE at 350°F. 40 min. or until knife inserted near center
comes out clean. TIP: Recipe may be doubled. Double all ingredients.
Divide ingredients evenly between 2 greased (2-qt.) shallow baking
dishes.
