Have you tried deep fried oreos?

All you do is mix some pancake batter dip the oreos in it fry them in oil and when they are done put them in powdered sugar and put a little chocolate syrup on them. I can only eat like 2 of them. They are sweet.

This isn't cheese cake or brownies-but they're really good!

Oreo truffles

a package of oreos crushed, 8oz cream cheese, softened. Mix well and chill. roll into 1 inch balls, chill again. Then dip in melted chocolate.

I've made these using the regular oreos and also using the golden. both taste awesome.

This is my favorite oreo desert  my mom makes and gave me the recipe too.

18 oreo cookies

1/3 cup butter

2 squares unsweetened chocolate

1/2 cup sugar

1 tablespoon butter

1 5.3 ounce can Pet Milk

1 quart vanilla ice cream

1 8 ounce container Cool Whip

Crumble oreos in a bowl. Melt butter and pour over oreos.  Press mixture in a 8x8 pyrex dish.  Cover just the bottom of the pyrex.  Immediately put in freezer to chill.  Take Vanilla ice cream out to soften slightly.  Melt chocolate.  Add sugar, butter and milk.  Cook until thick.  Spread vanilla ice cream over oreos.  Top with cooled chocolate mixture.  If chocolate is not completely cool, put the dish back in the freezer after spreading ice cream until cool.  After chocolate mixture, top with Cool Whip.  Crumble 2-3 oreos on top.  Return to freezer, serve the next day.

It is wonderful.

These are absolutely out of this world!!!  Happy Baking!!!

Oreo Crunch Brownies By Ina Garten Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound unsalted butter
  • 1 pound semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 7 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons instant espresso powder
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup plus 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups chopped Oreo cookies about 50 cookies

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Butter and flour an 12″ x 18″ x 1″ baking pan. I like to use foil for ease of getting them out. In a heatproof medium bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water, heat butter, chopped semisweet and unsweetened chocolate until melted and smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, coffee, vanilla and sugar. Blend chocolate mixture into egg mixture; cool to room temperature.
  4. In a medium bowl, sift together one cup flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture. In a small bowl, stir Oreos and remaining 1/4 cup flour. Add Oreo mixture to chocolate mixture. Pour batter into baking pan and smooth top with a rubber spatula.
  5. Bake 28-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted 3 inches from center comes out clean with some crumbs attached; do not overbake. Allow to cool. Refrigerate to get clean cuts.

I have made these and taken them to picnics and fam functions always brought home just the dish !

oreo trifle

1 pkg oreos, ( flav your choice ) 1reg sz box choc, van or french van instant pudding , 2c milk, 2 -8 oz cont cool whip , can also add berries if you like , crumble all oreo cookies( or crumble as you go )  place about 1-2 c in bottom of med or lg decorative dish , make pudding according to pkg directions, chill , then when chilled, stir in 1 container of cool whip, start layering , 1st cookies, then pudding , then berries ( if you wish ) also can put layer of cool whip inbetween pudding and berries if you like , keep layering like lasagna, once done , top w/ enough of 2nd container of cool whip to cover nicely .* I usually use a med to lg ( depending on how many people ) for this  punch bowl and it works great, the people think the punch bowl is pretty and it,s big enough for me to handel a med to lg sz crowd with this . Do not go out and buy an expensive punch bowl just for this ! I found mine at the local Salvation Army store here at home ! Sometimes you can also find trifle bowls there  too .

These are definitely worth trying. I made them at Christmas time and they were gone in no time!!! I like both the semi-sweet chocolate-dipped ones, and the white chocolate-dipped ones, but I think most people liked the white ones better.

Homemade Oreo Cookies

1 18.25-ounce pkg. Oetker Chocolate Organic Cake Mix
3 tablespoons shortening, melted (I use Earth Balance)
1/2 cup cake flour, measured then sifted (I use whole wheat pastry flour)
1 egg or substitute
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons Dark Dutch Cocoa
Combine the cookie ingredients in a large bowl. Add the water a little bit at a time until the dough forms. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On a lightly floured surface roll out a portion of the dough to just under one 16th of an inch thick. To cut, use a lid from a spice container with a 1 1/2-inch diameter. Arrange the cut dough rounds on a cookie sheet that is sprayed with a light coating of non-stick spray. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove wafers from the oven and cool completely. As the cookies bake, make the filling. When the cookies have cooled, roll a small portion (heaping 1/4 teaspoon) of the filling into a ball (just over 1/4-inch in diameter), and press it between two of the cookies. Repeat with the remaining cookies.Makes 108-116 wafers; for 54-58 sandwich cookies If the dough seems too tacky, you can work in as much as 1/4 cup of flour as you pat out and roll the dough. Use just enough flour to make the dough workable, but not tough.

The filling:
For filling, place 1 pk unflavored gelatin in a heatproof cup. Add 1/4 cup cold water, stir well and place in pan of hot water until mix clears and gelatin is softened. Beat 1 c Spectrum vegetable shortening until fluffy. Add 4 1/2 c confectioners sugar gradually and beat for 10 minutes. Mix in 1 tsp vanilla, beat in cooled gelatin mix. Spread about 1 teaspoon filling between two cookies. Press gently together so that filling comes to the edges of cookies.
