If you have a good pizza recipe, please share it! Do you buy pre-made pizza dough and sauce or make your own? Thanks in advance!
I buy all the ingredients at Walmart, it ends up being $25-30 but it's enough to make 6-8 pizzas. I have one son that likes plain cheese, my other son has just peperoni & once in a while mushrooms, one daughter likes everthing but mushrooms & olives, the other daughter is a canadian bacon & pineapple, my DH likes a lot of meat with shrooms & olives along with loads of cheese, I eat what I want. I load them up, the boys are the only ones that aren't at least 3" high with toppings. With the size of our family it's cheaper to buy the stuff to make them the way everyone wants then to order from a delivery place.

I maky my own dough, using half whole wheat pastry flour and 1/2 unbleached white flour: I use the dough setting on my bread maker (that I picked up on freecycle)
1 package yeast
1 1/4 cups lukewarm water
3 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
In large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup of the water, and let proof 10 minutes.
Add flour, salt (I cut to 1 tsp), olive oil and remaining water. Mix well and knead until the dough is smooth, about 10 minutes. Add more flour if necessary to make a smooth, silky dough. The easiest thing is to put it in a stand mixer with a dough hook and let it go - it's a bit sticky.
Put dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth and set aside in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Punch down and let it rest 10 min.
Divide dough into 4 pieces and shape each piece into a flat circle approx 10 inches in diameter. Preheat oven to 450, and brush tops of dough with olive oil.
Place on baking sheet dusted with cornmeal, and bake until brown around edges and cheese is melted, about 15 min.
I use Enrico's pizza sauce

Here is a realy good recepie for pepperoni pizza:
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 package (1/4 oz.)dry yeast
- 1 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. olive oil
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 12 oz. mozzarella, sliced
- 1 3/4 oz. pepperoni slices (about 25 slices)
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preheat oven to 400degrees F. Lightly grease a 12-x9- inch baking sheet. Sift the flour and salt into a large bowl.Stir in the yeast. Make a well in the center and add olive oil and 1 cup lukewarm water. Mix until a soft dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured suface and knead gently for 5-7 minutes.
Roll out dough and press into prepared baking sheet. Cover and allow to rest for 10 minutes at room temperature, then bake for 5-7 minutes.
Remove the crust form the oven and spread pizza sauce on top, leaving a 3/4 inch border. arrange the mozzarella on top and then the pepperoni. Sprinkle with oregano and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and bake until golden, 15-20 min.
Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, slice the pizza into 6 square slices.
