Ladybug or Princess Baby Shower

I am helping host a baby shower for my bestfriend, and the I have 2 possible themes....princess or Ladybug.  Do ANY of you have ideas on decorations, invitations, centerpieces, food, games etcs. that you wouldn't mind sharing?  The baby shower is late October of this year.  HELP!!!!  Thank you in advance :-)

my specialty showers.. first of all about how many tables , you have two great themes.. right now green tree dollar stores or 99 depending where your at (im sure your bound to have a dollar store  in your area ) they have the lady bug theme out for the summer , right now is the time to get your suppliesthey have actual lady bug cut outs for the back to school teacher classroom decor.. glue them to a skewer and in a potted daisy plant  any plant thats offered at lowes or home depot  at the time of your shower , make small diaper cakes about 6 rolled up  diapers a ribbon wrapped around and some of the cut outs around the cake as decoration . the dollar tree has these wooded lady bugs and princess crowns you can paint if its too much trouble painting in targets dollar sction they have holoween costumes out a nicely tulle wand and head crown for a buck have one for every guest to wear you can even make a game out of it .. (which ever lady crosses there leg when sitting a person can take the wand away,at the end of the shower the person with the most wands wins a prize ) michaels and hobby lobby have wooden lady bugs and crowns already painted add a back pin and a small piece of ribbon and you have a pin on favor .. the main thing in a shower is to keep your guest busy  and having fun no sitting AROUND! dollar store again buy some color toilet paper great for another game have them guess how many squares its gonna take to go around the tummy of the mom  . Buy gifts at the dollar storefor ladys  ( oven mittens , dish cloths , bath gels have some gag gifts too .. at michels and the dollar store they have these stro foam color lady bugs  make a small lace circle and glue one to the middle add two ribbion tails  and you have another pin favor. its summer there are lady bugs everywhere and with holloween comming up the costume section for princess stuff is availible. add alot of artificial plants  and greenery everywhere for the lady bug theme visit your cake making store they have royal icing lady bugs and princess crowns and have cupcake towers (a nice dollar champange flute and a plate add cupcakes and top with these eddible lady bug cupcake toppers (the small royal icing candy cupcake toppers shouldnt run you more then a quarter each ) use alot of balloons hope that helps a bit take alot of pictures and post!!~
