it's always good to have baby wipes even if your kids aren't in diapers, so you can easly wipe your hands off, or your kids face or something that you want to clean but don't want to get it wet.

that's true about the baby wipes. My kids are out of diapers and i still will buy and use baby wipes. I use it to wipe my hands and the kids. I also use baby wipes when my dog goes out side and comes back in with muddy paws so i wipe his paws off. I use baby wipes all the time.

Baby wipes also work great to remove makeup.  Why spend all the money on the make wipes.  I know it is not a kitchen tip but it works great.

I have learned to use baby wipes for everything!  I have a microfiber couch and I use baby wipes to get every stain out, formula dribbles and all! :)

Baby powder. I use the J&J cornstarch on hand to get the sand off of my kids! It really works well! Make sure you keep it out of reach, though. My 2 yo got a hold of it last week, while naked, & decided to sit on her rocker & dusted herself from head to toe!

For me my FAV tool is my mortar & pastle....

1. Obviously for crushing herbs, beat the hech out of fresh to release flav. & same with dried.

2. crush garlic w/out the mess...and yeah, I do the crush with fist method to...and this helps to keep the little buggers from running out of the mortar...lol

3. To crush black pepper, cus my so called expensive one doesn't work well :P

4. make good salts...fresh garlic or onion salts is so yum!

5. use the pestle to ream oranges and lemons....when you have a hang nail, rach's method hurts....ouch!

6. When I clean my M&P from stinky garlic or herbs....I do this double duty tooo....mash the heck out of a palm of sea salt (or reg.), and a palm of baking soda. Add this powder down your sink drain and rinse with vinegar or lemon juice....then rinse with warm water...the powder down the drain with freshen a stinky sink too :) ...or while ya at it...just scour it and it's nice and shiney too :)
