Can of the small size biscuits
Oil

In a larger pot heat about 3/4 full with vegetable oil

when it dances with a drop of water add about 2-3 whole biscuits at a time. fry till brown on one side and then flip over with a slotted spoon to other side. When done and still hot toss with either powder sugar, or cinnamon sugar or if your adventurous with a pastry bag squirt in jelly for a jelly doughnut or already made pudding cups for a cream filled doughnut

If you want a traditional doughnut use the lid off a coke bottle to make the little center hole.(don't forget to fry the holes) Fry like above and either toss with sugars or with canned chocolate frosting.

Holed doughnuts are not advisable for fillings

I thought I was the only one who made these!  They're fantastic and remind me of my grandma's kitchen in the summertime.  I use about 1 1/2 cups of crisco in a frying pan instead of oil in a pot but the end result is the same.  Great post!
