• hi my name is candice...im only half mom so far, i have about another week or two to go before my baby boy is born...im 18 years old and i just graduated high school in may...and ive been married for 6 months...ever since freshmen yr of high school ive wanted to write, me and my friend wrote colaborated stories together...i mainly write stories, i have had poems win contests on poetry.com....im not working on anything right now in fact i havent worked on anything for a while...but im hoping after i get settled into my new life style i wil find more time to write

• Hi, I'm Elaine Bartlett.  I'm a married for 20+ years mother of 2 at home (teen-age boys) and three crazy Brittanys.  I wrote a romance novel --finished it over 7 years ago.  I submitted it, but it was rejected. :-(  I'm currently working toward getting it self published.
  
  I hate to think that all that work was for nothing.  I'd just love to have it in a real cover to keep on my very own bookshelf.  Do you know what I mean??

  My name is Michelle.  Actually that's my pen name, but in order to keep my family shielded a little from my writing I use it even in places like this instead of my real name.  I'm a 35 year old married (13 years) mom of two great kids (10 & 4).  I've been writing for about 2 1/2 years and have a short story e-published this summer with Samhain Publishing.  Next summer it comes out in print as part of an anthology.  I also have a novella under contract with them and right now my editor is looking at a full length novel I wrote.  Haven't heard back yet.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.  I write contemporary and erotic romance.  Both stories under contract are erotic romance, my novel is contemporary.

• Hi I am Lynn, mother of 3 boys ages 6 and younger.  I am 31 years old.  I have been saying for 20 years that I want to be a published writer "someday" and I have decided to stop waiting for someday to arrive!  My youngest son is 16 weeks old,a nd I ahve been writing non-stop since about 10 hours after his birth.  I mostly write fiction, though I have been tryng out some non-fiction stuff as well.

• Hey everyone! I'm Dawn and a newby to cafe mom fairly new to writing. I have a novel half done and needing much work on the main character, a women's study done for a church group I belong to and am starting a children's book.
   
  I have three boys of my own (18, 15, 7) and a niece (17) who graduated early and is going to college as is my 18 yr old son.
  
  I am so excited to find a writers group! It is not just a love, but a passion of mine to write.

  I'm G and new here.
  I've been writing since high school or earlier I guess.
  I wire poetry, short stories and children's stories.
  
  Lately though I've been working on travel essays.
  
  When I was younger I thought I'd be the female Ernest Hemmingway and travel the world.
  
  Well here I am still in Jersey. 
  
  I think everyone should write something, anything - it's a great outlet for stress and creativity.

• Hello. My name is Dawn (27). I am a sahm to Asha (01/14/04) and Elliott (08/08/07) I am married to Brian (29). We live in Pa. I am a born again Christian. I love to read Christian books. Some books I have enjoyed are; Yada Yada Prayer Group series, Gods in Alabama, Left Behind series, books by Stormie Omartian, anything that catches my eye and teaches me about being a Christian. I have finally found a home church, after searching long and hard for one that fit just right, and everyone in my family like the church. I will be trying to lose weight once I recover from my c-section I had on the 8th of August. My daughter, Asha, started preschool on the 4th of September. That’s about it for right now. Feel free to ask me any questions.

• Hi, My name is Cori. I live in Michigan. I have one daughter age 19 who is well on her way to making me a Grandma come January. My Husband drives a big truck and I go out with him often. I actually tried it my self but high blood pressure and driving truck are not easy to combine. I've been writing for as long as I can remember and it's always been my dream to get a story completed.
