Hi Everybody. I'm Robin, a SAHM with 2 toddlers, and a very newbie writer. A few months ago I entered an online contest on textnovel.com. my first contest, and in fact, the first time i let anyone read anything of mine! I have had a great time there and am one of the top 20 novels. I also have met a number of other fantastic writers, who all have helped me. I'm hoping to meet more on here. I primarily write romance, paranormal and some horror and erotica. Pretty much whatever I am in the muse for.
I blog with 4 other textnovel authors, and I usually put up something about being such a new writer.
If you want to check it out, it is www.textnoveldivas.com and my textnovel stories are at http://www.textnovel.com/profile_view.php?user_id=560
Glad to be here!
Hello ladies.
Name is Carla and like so many of you, have desire to write. I did create one book When Fear Dies many years ago and after struggling to find agent decided to go through a self-publishing company. My net sales are hardly anything, but am so glad that my attempts brought me to work on its sequel that I hope to finish by springtime.
I wish all of you luck in your dreams--they are ours to shoot for. Hold tight to your thoughts, even the ones that don't seem to be significant for someday they might hold the key word to success. My second granddaughter (who has interest in writing) reminded me that "we write for the love of it not for fame, grandma" gives me a continuous link to a keep clicking on.
Thank you for your time and remain blessed.
Welcome to the group. Your granddaughter is correct -- but wouldn't we all like to see our names on a book in print?? :))
