What sort of traditions do you have with your kids and family for Halloween? Every year we go to the mall here and trick or treat. It's crazy with tons of people. Then we order Thai and watch movies. This year my kids are dressing as a gothic rag doll and Wall-E!

  • Our family just does the reg. stuff. We carve pumpkins, decorate the porch, dress up and go trick or treating. I really love Halloween it is one of my favorite holidays, but I'm a chicken so no haunted houses or scary movies, although this year I did enjoy Zombieland and Shaun of The Dead.

  • we just saw Zombieland last night, since the boys are with their dad. (LOVED it!)

it's hard for us to do the same things every year, though,  cuz sometimes my kids are with us and sometimes they're not. lately i've been working a lot more and it seems like everything came up on me so fast this year that i didn't have time to do much of anything. usually, i enjoy the trip to the farm to pick out our pumpkins (more so than actually carving them) but we didn't even do that this year. i feel like Charlie Brown with a bag full of rocks : )
