It's way too quite in here.
Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello........?

Quoting JoyeAustin:
Well the big news--RanaAurora had her baby this morning!
Hehe...I'm not sure most people in here know who she is!
I've found a way to just barely fit in everything I do, with the exception of cafemom. :-(
I get up at 6:30 in the morning, run a few laps, shower and get myself and the girls ready for the day, drop them off, head to work, bust my ass, head home, eat dinner, spend some time with the hubs until he goes to work at 9:30, do the dishes, spend 30 minutes or so editing my book, do some hopeless (well it IS) job searching, get ready for bed, do my exercises, then hit the hay. Usually around 11, but I'm running late tonight, because I missed you.
That's EVERY DAY now. Hopefully, when I'm done with this book, I'll have a time slot open.
Quoting LesHug:
You wrote a book????
Whats it about?
Not exactly.
This guy I used to work with had written a vampire novel in college. It was pretty awful. After finding out that I want to be an editor, he asked me if I'd tackle his book. Because of the number of meetings we've had on it, the number of revisions I've done, and the basic transformation of the damned thing since I got my hands on it, he's decided to give me co-author credit, since it doesn't look at all like the book he originally wrote. So I call it "my book."
So yeah. Vampires.

That is totally awesome!

SA-WEET!!! I was never really into sci-fi before reading Twilight. Now, I'm all about the Vampires. I even have a Vampire name for myself. :-) I've read about five Vampire series since Twilight. Everything of mine is Vampire. I'm beyond obsession. So...... do us admins get a free copy?! ;-)

Jess - you kick ass!
We've just been busy unpacking. We thought we'd have to move with Todd's new job, but he ended up being placed here! So we had started to pack and get ready to move, now we need to "move" back into our own home.
Aside from that - it is just summer break. Every time I try and Cafe mom, (like right now) my kids come on up and talk to me, read the screen, ask to play games online, etc.
Todd's new jon has him home earlier, so that my old alone time of after the kids went to bed but before he came home is gone.
Plus, we're getting ready to go on vacation in San Diego!

Erica, I'm going to spare you. If you liked Twilight, you DON'T want to read this book. It has a lot of the same themes as Twilight (even though he wrote it about 10 years ago), but was done MUCH more poorly. I keep wanting to slap him as I try to figure out my way through the bigger plotholes.
Annie, that is SO AWESOME that you don't have to move! I know you were feeling really glum about it, so I'm glad you were able to get what YOU wanted in the end!

Oh Jess - I was actually DYING to move out of the Bible Belt!! We thought we'd be moving to a spot where we'd talked about moving to for about 13 years now. My heart sank. when Todd got the Nashville job! But we're making due. We still hope to move someday. It just was not meant to be....

Wait.....what?
I thought I remembered you posting that you were super-bummed about the new job prospect, and that you tried to be excited for him, but just couldn't muster it up. I've totally confused myself, I can tell.
:) I think the Bible Belt is fun. When you finally find like-minded individuals, you tend to stick tighter than you would elsewhere.
