It's way too quite in here.
Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello........?

He had posted for a few jobs in a few different places. When he was looking for work, we agreed that we were going to head to the Pacific Northwest. We also were ready to get away from both of our families. When he got the job in Nashville, I posted about being super bummed out. I was so upset that my post might have been unclear.
As to the Bible Belt - one of my best friends moved away last year. My other friend is still here, but she is a home schooling very conservative Southern Baptist. On paper, we would not even speak to each other
- but she has been spending a lot more time with her very conservative homeschool friends and her church friends.
While she is very tolerant of her liberal vegan friend, all of her other friends are the kind of people I find to be scary. Her beliefs are getting less tolerant and it bums me out. I know if she found out I was agnostic, she would freak out.
I need to find more like minded people to hang out with. I just don't know where they're hiding!

I just realized what an asshole I am. I expect my friends to be tolerant of my views, but I can't be tolerant of theirs? My friend is awesome. I really wish that I was more like her. She has the patience to homeschool - I do not. I am envious of the support group she has found for herself. And I don not find the people she hangs out with to be scary.
We live in a pretty conservative and Christian area. We were planning to move to a way more liberal and secular area. I guess that I am still feeling a bit trapped here and I lashed out. I do need to broaden my circle of friends - but I need to understand that I can do that without bumping old friends out of the group.
I'm sorry that I was such a tool.

We cant be perfect. It's great that you realized you were being like that on your own, it speaks highly of you.

Totally in love with Twilight. Just finished the book, and watched the movie (two times back to back) Only the Cullens and Keifer Sutherland (can't remember the name of the 80's movie off the top of my head) can make you fall in love with vampires. Just started New Moon last night. Have you heard the movie to New Moon is going to be released in theaters this year???? YAY, can't wait.

I've got you beat. I've watched Twilight about 23 times and there were a couple back to backs in there. Have you watched the movie with the commentary on? Catherine Hardwick, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are hillarious. So...... have you seen the trailer yet for New Moon? Check it out at www.newmoonthemovie.com. I can't wait! I'm reading the books for a second time.
