central new york moms

this group is dead! any moms in and around central new york?

if so are you all involved in any sort of playgroups or anything? i've noticed there arent too many i can find around the syracuse area.

You might want to try Kids Club or My Gym.  They have classes for little ones and open time too.  My kids love it and it's a great way to get them running around when it gets too chilly outside.  =)

I'm in CNY too but don't belong to any local mommy groups or anything. It'd be nice to have one to get together with on the weekends (I work full time during the week).

I'm new here, and was wondering, what qualifies as central New York? We just relocated to Phoenix, NY outside of Syracuse, and I am desperately trying to find my little guy a playgroup. He's an only child, and stays home with me so he needs that socialization. Any input would be VERY much appreciated. Thanks!!!

unfortunatley, my little one is much bigger than yours, but i want to welcome you to the group..it's been kind of hard to find people with kids my childs age..my daughter is 8..good luck

Thanks for the welcome. Coming up from an area as populated as Charlotte, NC, I guess I didn't expect that it would be this hard to find a playgroup for him. I'm having no luck at all...I don't know where else to look.

I've been living here my whole life and I think it's very hard to find friends. I feel like if you don't go to the clubs or bars it's impossible to meet people. I have a 17 mos old son and it would be so nice to have another mommy-friend.  TMK- My husband is from Phoenix and we only live about 10 minutes from there maybe we can chat sometime :)

Hi,

I'm in Liverpool, I watch a 9 month old little boy full time, but am currently pregnant with my first child. I'd love to meet some moms around the area. I have noticed, that since I started this job and gotten pregnant my "friends" have dropped off the planet. So it'd be nice to have something to do with the little guy before my child gets here. I know he gets so ansy cooped up inside all day.
