What a cutie!  I know what you mean, those wiggly noses and fluffy tails, we can't resist! Bunnies are great!

I agree.

My Mimi died just one week ago and my very first thought was, NO MORE BUNNIES!  I really thought I could never handle that heartbreak again.

Now, a week out, I am looking to adopt an unwanted bun.  In the yahoo bunny group, there is a boy bunny, he looks JUST like Mimi, but is about 400 times the size of my two-pound girl.  He is a rex (mimi was a mini-dwarf rex), is very scared of people and other animals, and since I have NOBODYin my house right now, he may be the perfect fit for me/

Right now, I am waiting some time to really consider this.  Hermann (the big boy) is in a foster home, learning to trust a bit...  Still, as Mimi had a similar personality to him, I think he may be JUST the bun for me and I may be the right mom for him!  His foster-mom will be coming to Austin (they live in Houston) around xmas, so I may have a new guy in my house after that.  We will see!

For now, the house is far too quiet;  IF I take in a bun to foster or if I do adopt Hermann, I feel sure that somebunny will be coming in and livening up the place very soon~

I put him in with my older bun and I wish you all could see how happy they are together! I think a little companion was just what Ninja needed.

I haven't decided on a name for him yet...anybody wanna put their two cents in? I think it's a male but I'm not sure, so it needs to be gender-neutral.

When I look at him, the word, "Foxy" is what enters my brain..  Maybe it's this photo, but he looks kind of like a silver-fox.. a teeny one, but still a fox!   Oh, and I am so glad your other bun is accepting this one.

Yes, "sexing" a bun can be very difficult.  Mimi's first trip to the vet was not helpful as she was a very small girl (nly about 6 ounces then, but never more than about 2 pounds). and, as she was about 7 weeks old when I brought her in, we just could not see well enough to know.  when she had surgery, years later, it was confirmed that Mimi was a Mimi and not a Momo!

Half the time, I called her bubs or bubbles, anyway..

thanks, gigi!... bird of paradise...

OMG its so cute. I have a twin named Leah. Now that she's over a year, she doesn't need nearly as much brushing. Good luck!
