Although me and my daughter will be spending plenty of time with our new rabbit I am wondering if I should get two so when we are at work and school and at night she wont be alone? I am planning on spaying and neutering anyway. Does anyone know of any favorite toys for rabbits? I had a rabbit before but its been awhile and he chewed thru everything so this time I am gnna have plenty of toys!

My bunnies' favorite toys are those plastic cat ball with the bells inside and plastic baby keys. They also love to chew on all-natural wicker baskets.

As for getting a friend for your rabbit. I've done this and I can say that if you have a male and get him neutered, you have to wait several weeks before you can put him with a girl. Also, rabbits can be very territorial and sometimes they just like having their own cage. One of my pairs loved each other but they had to be separated because she was litter trained and he wouldn't get litter trained. She's white and got very dirty. I had to keep an eye on my other pair because he would't leave her alone and she kept pulling clumps of fur out of him. They're still in the same cage but I keep an eye on them.

There's lots of info out there about how to introduce one bunny to another. After giving it some thought, I think the best thing for bunnies is to have cages near each other and then let them out every day or so in a neutral area so they can play together.

Spay and neuter your pets! Rescue don't breed!
