I took my angora to be groomed yesterday and it looks like her hip is out of joint, her back leg sticks out when she tries to hop. Has anyone had this happen to their rabbits?  Unfortunately my vet is out of town until Monday so I made an appointment but I am not sure if I can wait until then or should I take her somewhere else?  Her leg is not swollen and she is eating fine, doesen't look like it hurts her but I am not sure.

My bunny is back from the vet, unfortunately the vet was unable to put her hip back in the socket. She has her hip in a sling to hold it in a normal position and we will see how it heals, hopefully she will be able to get around on her own, will know more in a week.

How is she?  I just took in a 5wk old bunny who has splayed legs.  What a mess...I taped his back hind legs together a bit closer hoping they will grow more straight under him...

After surgery to cut off the tip of her femur, she is still not hopping. Vet said she developed an EC infection that is causing her to loose muscle mass, so we are clearing up the infection then will begin acupuncture soon to hopefully get her moving. She is not paralyzed, she can kick her back legs and do a full circle in her cage!  Have been doing some range of motion therapy with her to strengthen up her muscles.
