I wanted to make a sticky post listing all of our rabbit breeders. I know there are a few on here. So if you are currently raising rabbits for meat, pets or show and would like to be listed post it here. I need your state and if you feel comfortable with it the nearest large city, what type of rabbits your raise, what breeds, and if you have a website or e-mail addy you'd like to post, do that as well. Any other information you'd like post go on and say it.

Thanks a bundle!

I raise rabbits for meat or for pets whatever the buyer wants. I have a couple of New Zealand does and a couple of NZ bucks, I have 2 NZ cross does, a Mini Lop pair, a Dutch doe (my buck was killed) a Poland cross buck--mama died--and some kind of lop cross buck that I'm keeping for a friend. We also have about 30 babies that are butcher size--they are 11 weeks old. Some are smaller because they are products of a NZ cross doe and the lop buck. They are the same age as the others, but they are about a third smaller than the others. I live in NE Oklahoma in Jay and sell my rabbits for $8 apiece whether they are for pets or butcher. If anyone is interested, message me and I'll give you directions.

We are Glory Acres Rabbit Tree and we are located in SW Ohio and have been breeding show rabbits for about 12 yrs now.  My husband is President of the Ohio Valley Rabbit Breeders and I am the secretary of the club, as well as a director with the Buckeye Polish Club.  We have been members of the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) for 12 yrs and I am studying to be a registar with them.
We raise Polish, English spots, and Lionheads (specializing in Blue eyed whites) and we also have a few Holland Lops.
Here are some pictures of some of rabbits:

Grand Champion "Excessive Fire in Glory" - English spot chocolate doe.

Grand Champion "Kuriboh's Glory" - Polish Broken Black Doe

Buffalow Creek's Denali - Blue Eyed White Lionhead Buck.

Here is our website if you would like to see some more of our rabbits www.gloryacres.net

We currently have about 200 rabbits.  My husband says that we "show the best and eat the rest". We live in Wisconsin and are members of the WSRBA (Wisconsin Rabbit Breeders Association) and the ARBA.  We have New Zealand Whites, Blacks and the new variety of Brokens.  We have Sables, Californians and Dutch.  We were at the National Convention in Grand Rapids MI last year and are going to Louiville, KY in a couple of months.  My daughter is #1 in Wisconsin with her Black New Zealands.  Who else out there is going to the Nationals in October?  rabbitmom64

I wish you lived closet to me.....I would love some NZ blacks and Sables. I had 2 male sables given to me last year and they got killed by something along with 3 other of my bucks and 2 of my lop babies that were selling age. We don't show in any big competitions, just at the county fair and that is only against about a dozen other rabbits, but our NZ usually take 1st or 2nd...Good luck in KY! I'll be rooting for you, and if you happen to go by NE OK on the way home, look me upbig smile mini

We are just getting our rabbitry up and going and finding it a little difficult right now. We've lost our last three litters. I'm sure that will turn around very soon though. We raise Netherland Dwarfs and Mini-rex. We're located in Texas and the name of our rabbitry is Psychedelic Furs.

Anybody in Ohio selling Dutch rabbits?  I'll be moving back there in June 2010 and was just wondering about Dutch rabbit breeders in Ohio.
