Tuesday, April 1st, marks the first day of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Awareness Month - a very empowering time for survivors. I'm now proud to introduce two individuals to you in this Survivor Archive Series who offer a great deal of creativity and strength to the survivor community.

The U.S. Department of Justice and the Office on Violence Against Women offers the above resources for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.


Child Welfare Information gateway - a service of the Children's Bureau, the Administration for Children and Families, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services - offers the above 2008 resource packet for child abuse awareness. This packet contains resources to promote community awareness of five important protective factors that can help families protect children from the risk of child abuse and neglect.
