About All Things Pagan

***Please be aware that we screen all prospective members carefully, and that it may take a few days to hear back from us. We apologize for any inconvenience. (A completed application makes the process faster, though!!!)***

***As of 4/23, the group settings have been changed to remove inactive members after a month. This means you have to visit the forum at least once every thirty days. If you find yourself removed from the group, please read the guidelines carefully BEFORE reapplying. Thank you.***

Welcome, everyone! My name is Briar, and I started this group as a safe haven for all who are looking to explore and understand their path. We have only one rule--participation. Please read the guidelines and informational posts when you are accepted.

This group is meant to be used as a tool to promote your spiritual growth, and this happens best through participation. If there is anything you would like to see, let us know! We also have a variety of activities to participate in. If you're new to Paganism, this is the best way to get your feet wet. And remember, if you have any questions--ask them!!!

Brightest Blessings!

AS OF 4/23/08:

Embracing the tenets of a new faith is difficult. It requires you to challenge the limits of what you believe by learning new ideas and practices. The path you have chosen isn't an easy one; but you have chosen it. My expectation then, is that you will want to do everything you can do to learn and grow. This group has an abundance of things to help you do this--but if your goal isn't active learning, then I suggest that this may not be the right group for you.

There are a couple of general requirements:

  • You must invite AllThingsPagan to be your friend (this is the group's CafeMom profile).
  • You must maintain a reasonable level of activity on the forum. We want to hear about the things you've learned, the questions you have, your family--anything you want to talk about. I certainly appreciate how busy we all are, so at the very least, stop in and say hello.
  • The group is set to remove inactive members after a month. This means you must visit the forum at least once every thirty days.
  • And please remember--the only stupid question is the one NOT asked.

But you should keep this in mind as well:

  • Please no selling, or suggesting any products that you are associated with.  Recipes are different, as there's no price tag involved.
  • Please do not advertise your groups here. There are many fine places to do that. This group isn't one of them.
  • Please try to keep your signatures to a reasonable size.
  • If we don't know you, it's hard to find things to talk about.  So please introduce yourself.  And do it in your own post. It helps us get to know you, and as an individual.
  • As in all things, you get out what you put in.  Remember that.

Rain Hugs and Blessings!!!
