Can't think of anything to write? Today is Veteran's Day...you could add a scene about honoring those that serve in the Military. That is...if it fits in your story!
In a few days we will be at the half way mark!! I know if I put in a lot of effort I could make it to halfway today...but we shall see. I thought I had a good idea on what to do next, but I'm still a little bit lost at this point. I found my other character that got lost a couple of chapters back, but she is about to leave again.
So...my goal is to just write until I need to get the kid from school! I have two hours.

My main characters are in the Air Force so the military already plays a roll in my story. :)
My goal is to make 26k-27k. I should have done that back on Sunday but things got in the way. I'm just under 24k right now. Should be a piece of cake. I should break 30k before the weekend.
22,000 is my goal tonight, but I'm not sure if that will happen or not. At this poing I am just aiming for 30,000 by the end of the weekend, in whatever way it takes me to get there.
So I hate when my characters do something before I wanted them to. I have one character who had to find out a very important bit of information about his family. He and my other mc were going to work on it for weeks before he figured it out. Well, she just came over to help him do research and he had discovered it all on his own. Hmm. Was not expecting that. I'll run with it and see what happens!
Plus, I have totally lost track of what time of year it is. I thought it was June, but maybe not. So confused. Might be time to go back and reread!

LOL I did that the other day. I was writing it was july (weather wise) but then it snowed the other day and i had it snowing and describing the mountains covered in snow. I had to nix that whole scene......don't let the weather outside write for you!
Still hoping to reach 22000 tonight! Just starting for the day!
I guess it is a good thing my story is a time traveling story!!! It doesn't really matter what the weather is like!! Haha!
I am at 22,635 right now! Not sure if I am going to write anymore today. But I might if the inspiration hits later!!

My story takes place mostly in 1860, so I'm not thinking I can include anything for Veteran's day.
My goal is again 2,000 words. Yes it's almost 10pm and I am just now setting down my goal so I can go get started. I need to start finding a few minutes to type during the day. I'm so tired by the time I sit down to type that it takes me a while to get going.
And it doesn't help that I've had a somewhat painful day. I experienced an Ovarian Torsion last night. That was probably the single most painful thing I've ever gone through and I've had several high pain ordeals. I am not exaggerating when I say that I thought I was going to die.
Yikes. Just do as much as you can. Don't push your limits. I personally would take the night off if I had a day like that. Hope you feel better tomorrow.
