Ok, so the warm fuzzies are in bloom! I found a reasonably priced, fresh, organic, kosher (I know, right?!) baby food at Target a few days ago. It was a bit more than the standard Gerber or Beech Nut, but it is way fresher, and has some great combos with names like Piwi and Squapples, so I HAD to try them. First, let me just say how much Elianna FREAKING LOVED THIS STUFF! Loved it more than the stuff I make, couldn't get enough loved it! So I checked out their website, and they are setting the most amazing example of what corporate responsibility really is. They give 10% of their profits to charities, and they list them right on the website, with links. So, I decided to ask if they would send some extra coupons to my favorite charity, Our Mother's Home (Which you ladies have heard me talk about before). This is what I got back today:
Hi there! Homemade Baby makes the country’s only fresh, 100% organic and kosher food for babies and toddlers. We’re currently sold in the refrigerated section of every SuperTarget in Floridafor $0.99 for 4 oz. and $3.79 for 4-packs. Lexa D******* suggested we send your group coupons (which brings the price down to around $0.50 per 4 oz). I had the opportunity to visit your website and love what you’re accomplishing. Where should we send the coupons? All the best, Matt KieneHomemade Babywww.homemadebaby.com310-559-2300
Please, ladies, please visit their site! If you have babies eating solids, please try their products! I want to support them as much as I can, and encourage others to do so as well. They have downloadable coupons on their site, also. I really hope some of you try it. If you do, please spread the word about a company that actually cares about more than just the bottom line!Love, Lexa
