GROUP OWNER'S NOTE: THIS IS A DRAMA FREE ZONE, NO EXCEPTIONS.
This group supports homecooking, child led nursing/weaning, creative play with natural/wooden toys, selectively vaccinating & not vaccinating at all, gentle & creative discipline, giving birth in birth centers or in the privacy of your own home, mama cloth, gardening, canning & freezing food, babywearing, bed-sharing & co-sleeping, Non-CIO methods, ECing (Elimination Communication), cloth diapering, toxin free cleaners & personal care products, herbals and foods to heal, homeschooling, homesteading, and researching & thinking for yourself. These are what we feel encompass being Old Fashioned & Anti-Mainstream.

You don't have to practice all of the above to join this group, although I do ask that we remain respectful to those who may answer differently than what we may have ourselves. Since this group contains many kinds of people, there will be disagreements in certain areas of parenting, hence my warning that this will NOT be a place to debate on these topics, but merely a place to support each other in a spirit of teaching and learning. Arguing about and or bashing of all things listed above will not be tolerated, since these are this group's founding principles. It's my sincere hope that we can all share information, grow, and learn together.
