For your school do you have to do team papers? What do you think of them/
I do! I don't really mind them except that sometimes you get stuck with flakes. Teams are a little more challenging online too! Right now I am working on a tem paper about the senses.

Well I go to UoP also so you already know that I have the whole team thing.  A couple of classes back I came across a group of people that were awesome, we worked well as a team so we would always request to be in each others class on the same team.  Those were the best classes that I have had yet.  Before that and after that I have just had teams that are not up to standards.  In this last class we had a total of 2 team projects the first being a powerpoint presentation the second being a paper.  I don't want to sound cocky but when it comes to ppp I rock!  I found my niche in the presentation by being able to do amazing things in them.  (In fact our team final in Bio Psy had music on it.)  Well I did my slides on this one that was due and turned it in for the next person to take over.  Keep in mind that I had a guy on the team take the title page (not kidding!), the intro, and 1 theory slide then he was going to edit and spell check it.  Let me start off by saying if you are responsible to spell check - use the spell check button when posting!  He could not post anywhere with out a spelling error - it just killed me.  I logged on Monday at 7:30 and the ppp is not done and no one is working on it. So I had to finish it, then edit it, spuff it up with color cause they had it all white, ect.  I ended up turning it in just before going to work and the next day everyone was like "oh thanks for taking care of it."  I was furious.  I told them that I wanted a grade so SOMEONE had to do the work.  Here is a question for anyone else working on a team - do you run across people that do not understand they can not write in 1st or 2nd person on an APA paper?  I think in every class there is at least one person who use I, we, our and it.  I just keep thinking man that was the first thing that I learned when writing.

I have to say that the team I have right now is the best that I have had so far but sure enough there is one girl that did her part in all first person. You would think that everyone would know not to do that by now, after all this can't be her first class.

See that is my though!  It would be different if it was the first class where they pretty much teach you how to go to school online and what type of student you are.  But after just a couple of classes you should figure out that you can not right in first or second person.  I actually had one team mate ask what I meant when I said that.  I told him if he as the writter was included in the statement then it was wrong.  lol

It does make you wonder how they made it as far as they did, except with a team paper you have people fixing your mistakes. What I don't understand is that with UOP they have a the Center for Writing Excelence so why do they still not know?
