My name is Lori and I am a full time reference supervisor at a medium sized (and growing) library in Utah. I am currently attending Excelsior College to finish my Bachelor's Degree in History and hope to complete my Master's in Library Science someday. I am also the mother to a very *busy* 3 year old daughter. I am also having issues with the math requirement---took and didn't pass my first exam in Statistics---which was very discouraging. Now I am battling issues with my husband and the "numbers"---he's not opposed to my going to school, but he is MR. BUDGET and loves to know how every dime is spent----which is hard when I can't get anyone to give me the numbers he needs regarding interest payments on my Stafford Loan. ARRGH! Anyway, hoping to start classes in March, the numbers willing.
Can't help getting discouraged every now and then---but I try to think positive---any suggestions/advice or just a hang in there would be appreciated.

I hope you do hang in there and I hope that everything works out and you are able to finish getting your degree. If there is anything else that I can do to help encourage you then please let me know.
