Hi ladies!  I just joined this group - I'm so glad I found it!
Any who.....  we're getting ready to re-do our oldest DD's room & mover her younger sis in there with her.  They are 6 & 2-1/2.  I ordered a new comforter - green with pink flowers.   I'm stuck as far as ideas for painting the room goes.  Right now the room is pepto Bismol pink & I want more subtle colors.  I really want this to be the last time I do this room for a while.  The furniture is white & they will have bunk beds.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks soooo much!

Here's the link to the comforter I bought.

I've always liked polka dots, you could do pink and green polka dots, along with any other colors you'd like. I am redoing my daughters room and this is a pic of what I'm going to try to do. Needless to say, I like bright colors =) Good Luck!

Which color is there more of in the comforter?
If there is more pink, I would paint the room green.  If there is more green, I would paint a light pink, or maybe another light color.  Nothing too annoying.

What is the theme?  Are you going with flowers?  If so, you can get some cute flower wallies (they peel off very easily for the future).
Search "flower wallies".

Can you post a pic of the bedding?

Well it all depends on the design your looking for.  Are you interested in something like the polka-dots that the other ladies showed you? Because that is awesome. Bright, colorful, vibrant, fun, and young.  But if you are looking for something a little more traditional. Something that they can grow into together. Then you are looking for soft and calming, but still with color. Lavender is a great color if you are looking for a typical girls room. Yes you have to see what the colors are in the comforter. And go from there. The floor can also be a direction. Any chance you can show us a picture of the room and give us a little more detail on what you are interested in. The ladies here are awesome and really can help you a long. We live for this. (lol)
