Creative Kid's Rooms
Hi all! So my little girl is currently 1 and is still sleeping in her crib.... problem is that we are expecting but the baby isn't due for another 6.5 months. So we are going to move our little girl into her own room and keep the nursery a nursery for the new baby. So I want to do her room in like a ladybug theme. I found the cutest bedspread in JCPennys mag. I am in a painting delema (sp?) though. Any ideas?? I don't want to just paint the walls one plain color....
Thanks ~ Hillery aka ReecieBugsMomma

by flutterby87us on Aug. 25, 2008 at 9:51 PMIt depends on how detailed you want to be, you could paint grass like waist high and put plants with ladybugs on the leaves, but if you don't want to get that detailed, then you could put the wall as being white and put ladybugs on leaves randomly on the wall or have it be green and put up ladybugs. Good Luck! |

by RoseSiO2 on Aug. 31, 2008 at 6:42 PMVery cute- But I have to think about the walls-Red is hard (IMO). I would probably put up a very ver pale green or light blue. Since the bedding is so graphic you may need to keep the walls solid so they don't compete too much. A pale pale green wall and then paint on long meadow like grass in a green 2-3 shades darker might be very cute. Scatter a few ladybugs on teh grass blades and maybe flying on the walls. |
