I think I can accurately say that we all sell something- whether it be a product or a service.
So to maintain our business - ANY business we all share a few key necessary functions that all rely on eachother to succeed.
Marketing & Advertising
Netwokring
Selling
Following up
Organinzing
Scheduling
Getting new ideas
Recruiting
etc....
What is the hardest part of your biz and tell us why. Who knows.. maybe someone can shed some light for you and help you get over that hump.

We have 1100 in our business organization now, so my biggest issue every day now is scheduling my time for 3 way calls, trainings and then following up with my own leads that contaxt me....
I guess that's a good problem to have tho....

MY HARDEST THING IS THAT I LIVE IN A VERY SMALL TOWN AND YOU CAN ONLY SELL TO THE SAME PEOPLE SO MUCH BEFORE THEY LOOSE INTEREST. THE NEXT TOWN IS ABOUT 25 MINUTES AWAY. I AM NOW LOOKING FOR PEOPLE IN OTHER TOWNS AND STATES TO HELP ME SELL MY PRODUCTS.

I have found that the hardest thing for me is getting myself enough of a customer base, I live in a rural town, and ther is another cake baker in my town. I am a fairly new business so I know I cannot expect too much too fast. Since I do not have a storefront, or a chain store name, or big company, it is slower to network. I missed attending a bridal show this past spring, and that really sucked!!!! I am learning and trying to grow my business. I know, it just takes time. Please wish me luck!!!!!! i will take all I can get!!!!

My hardest is getting customers and that is mostly cause I always have the 2 kids in tow. I am currently getting set up and finishing up training so that I can do this more as an internet with getting leads and just sending people to my site that will give them a lot of information about doing the creating wealth from home and then they can contact me if they are interested to get more information. That way I am not wasting time with people that just aren't interested.

There are so many tax firms out there that can offer same-day or next-day refunds that it is hard to compete. What so many people don't realize however, is that the amount of interest they are paying for the "instant money" is outrageous.
I do individual and small business taxes. I used to work for H&R Block, but it would hurt my feelings to hand people my bill. H&R charges by the form, NOT by the return, which is what I do.
I have business cards that I leave and give out year-round, but most of my business is word of mouth.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have tax questions, I'll be happy to answer them! If I don't know, I will research your question and get back with you.
Thanks!

The hardest thing about my business is marketing. I don't know how to market. i don't drive enough to invest in a magnet to stick on my car for advertisement. I have no credit card to use for buying pay per click advertisement or high ranked positions on the search engines.
I need to get the word out about my website to attract potential customers.

Booking parties, finding new hostesses, and expanding my business. These all tend to work together though.
Can't wait for the weekend!

When you own the company, you not only have to worry about meetings, advertising, and the daily workings of the company, you also have to worry about family time and keeping the house running smoothly. Moms are Jacks-Of-All-Trades and the Keepers of the Fort!!! LOL. When I first started up the business, the hardest thing for me was keeping the kids quiet while I talked to potential customers!!! Without fail, I'd be in the middle of an important sales call and my youngest would yell out, "MOM, NICKY WON'T GIVE ME MY GAME...HE'S HIDING IT UNDER HIS SHIRT..." hehehehe. Thank Heavens I work in a field that is filled predominantly with working Moms. LOL. :-)
For all of you having a hard time balancing work and family...it can be done. It's tough..but doable. The one thing I will say is that my family has ALWAYS come first and that's not going to change. :-) You can be successful and a GREAT Mom too!!!!
