I'm trying to find some free online learning games for my 3 year old to play. Does anyone know of any? Thanks1
PBS is good - more entertainement than education for my preference tho. I try to stay away from the Nick website - just a few clicks and kids can get to some 'adult only' websites.
My favorite is StarFall.com - it's freakin fabulous. I really think this site is the reason my kids are reading 2 years ahead. You should be able to give your little one a bit of training on how to navigate the site, then she/he can do it on her own. (There are big glowing green buttons when it's time to move forward, etc.) It's highly effective, and it's free - what can be better.
Other that that, i'd recommend buying some software.
Thanks ya'll. And I'm getting some software from my parents I had as a kid, but I have to wait until I go see them again and don't know when that will be, lol.
zoodles.com!!! It is it's own browser (so they can't get into anything that is dangerous), and has starfall, fisher price, pbs, disney... games. It chooses games based off of age. It's totally free, unless you want the parental controls (thne its $50/year).
