A school readiness website I follow just published a free e-book called "Early Writing For Little Hands." This e-book has talks about introducing your child to the 26 letters (it has tips and advice - the author is a retired teacher) plus tips for teaching your child the proper pencil grip for writing. The last half of the e-book are free full-color letter tracing worksheets (one worksheet for each uppercase and lowercase letter).
I just downloaded a copy of the e-book and it looks great. The last 52 pages are the free letter tracing printable kindergarten worksheets so you can print as many as you want if you need extra for your child to practice. I printed a few copies of the first 3 letters the e-book suggests and so far my 4yo son loves them.
Hope others find this helpful.
thanks this is awesome i was having a hard time introducing letters to my children. this helps a lot!!
I just checked and the e-book is still on their site and it's still totally free! I just downloaded another copy so I can save it on my computer and print out more worksheets as I need them! Sweet! :)
It's on the kindergarten worksheets page, upper right corner.
