What supplies can you not do without?

i'm planning on homeschooling but i was wondering what some of the supplies or materials you use that have proven invaluable to you. i have very little space to set anything up in so i didn't want to waste it with things i will never use.

I really like the dry erase board too, it makes things much easier, especially when first learning to write.  I also like glue, scissors, crayons, construction paper and cheap school leaning books I found in the $1 bins at target!
