That is what my 3 year old son told me the other day.
I have a 19 month old daughter as well.
Any and all tips on a schedule and resources I can do with them will help me SO much!!
I am very bad at making a schedule and sticking to it but since my son
has requested this I might as well start teaching him "school" lol.
What subjects/times/etc do you recommend and where do I find the resources?? Lol I'm so lost and new.
By the way my name is Amanda and I'm 24.
***My son kind of really needs structure and a routine when it comes to ANYTHING. The type of personality that he has kind of strives for it. I am terrible at trying to figure things out and plan stuff. So if anyone could kind of give me a daily/weekly routine that YOU suggest (that I can use as a starting point and then I can tweak it as necessary) with like the times, subjects all that that would be GREAT. We usually wake up around 8-9 but I would like to start getting up at about 7-8.***
We have a schedule because that is how we all function best. Write something up on a poster and laminate it and hang it on the wall. Buy school decorations from Dollar Tree and make a school room. :) I have a great post on my blog about homeschooling for preschool if you're interested..
Quoting twinstartermom:
ABCJesusLovesMe.com has a curriculum. I'm in the same boat as you, except I have twins that age. One is a boy the other is a girl. I'm going to be doing it to the best of my ability.
I am right there with ya. I have a 5 year old and a 19 mo old and I am terrible (terrible) with routines. We don't do anything the same day after day. I just feel lost for how to keep a routine.
