June/July Signs
This month we're focusing on home and cleaning - I have a book from Parent's Magazine called "Let's Clean Up" and I'm taking words from the book for that - from http://www.learninghorizons.com
Here's what the book sayes:
"Michael," Mom says, "we need to clean up your room."
"But I want to play!" says Michael.
"Let's play Hide and Seek," Mom says. "Toys are hiding in all sorts of places. We need to find them!"
"Okay," says Michael.
"Look!" Mom says. "I found a dinosaur hiding in your shoe. I'll put him in the dinosaur box"
"I'm finding lots of dinosaurs~!" Says Michael.
"You're good at this game," says Mom.
Michael and Mom decide to find race cars next.
"I see some cars!" says Michael.
"Good Job!" says Mom, smiling. "Your room looks neater already."
"There are more toys to clean up," Mom reminds Michael. "I see you found some blocks. Can you find any that are hiding?"
"I found lots of blocks!" Michael says. "I'll put them in the block box!"
"You found some books," says Mom. "I wonder where they belong?"
"I know!" Michael says. "On the bookshelf.
"Your right!" Mom says. "Good thinking."
"I found some socks hiding!" Michael calls. "I can put them in the sock drawer."
"Nice work," says Mom.
"Hmmm. Do you see any stuffed animals hiding around here?" asks Mom.
"I found all the animals!" Michael says. "They go up here on the shelf."
"Wow! Look how clean your room is! What a difference!" says Mom.
"Hooray!" shouts Michael.
"Do you want to play....? Hey!" says Mom. "Where did those two go?"

Hush, little baby, don't say a word,

If that diamond ring turns brass,
Mama's going to buy you a looking glass. (mirror)
If that looking glass gets broke,
Mama's going to buy you a billy goat.
If that billy goat won't pull,
Mama's going to buy you a cart and bull.
If that cart and bull turn over,
Mama's going to buy you a dog named Rover.
If that dog named Rover won't bark,
Mama's going to buy you a horse and cart.
If that horse and cart fall down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town.
So hush little baby, don't you cry,
Daddy loves you and so do I.
