As you can see... I am a NUT!!

you are not alone...I just got off the plane this evening and I am going to start planning my next trip. I think it may be a disney cruise..so no you are not the only one out  there.

I'm a nut too.  We already have this year's trip planned for December, so I've already been talking to my DH about next year's trip in October and the things we want to do on that trip.  Pretty scary, huh?

You aren't a nut. And I think you are in the right group for sure, most of us seem to be that way. I'm planning next years trip, and trips for down the road as well. I've got like three or four vacation plans going. And we dress up as Disney characters every year for halloween, and my son only watches disney channel. lol. Well pbs sometimes, but mostly disney channel. My sons room is "cars", we are decorating their bathroom in mickey mouse clubhouse, and my front room is mickey. When I get a house it will all be disney themed, my husband thinks I'm crazy, and my mil doesn't understand, but I grew up disney, and my family is the same way. LOL :-)

Nope not at all!!! I was always a fan of Disney, however in 2000 when hubby and I went for our very first trip ever to DL, (neither of us had even gotten to go) I became a HUGE Disney FREAK!  Let's just say... if I had it my way after visiting that first year, I would be a DL bum, if allowed ever... I would just become a part of the backdrop of the park, like a park character... "and here's the Disneyland Resorts own park Bum! She's came in 2000 and we couldn't get rid of her, so we let her live here... she's been here now for 20+ years..." okay, so I doubt Disney would go for it, but, if ever they would... I'M THERE! (LOL)  I know, I would have to be like the richest bum there ever was in order to live there... oh well. 

We went back the year later in July 2001, spent a week that time, then in 2002 we got pregnant, so I remained Disney Freak, but, was grounded for a few years, when I had our daughter, that afternoon, my biggest dream was to take her for her 5th birthday... everyone laughed at me, other then my hubby, we had been struggling, my hubby was going to school, I was working full time and we were in debt up to our eye balls, when my daughter turned 4, we lost everything and moved, had to give our home back, we essentially started over.  We moved to my home town, Woodland, Washington.  My hubby after 3 months finally found his dream job!  I was able to remain at home as  SAHM, and when my daughters 5th birthday neared, we actually realized we were going to be able to afford to take her...

we planned a cheap trip, but, still a trip all about DL and we managed to keep it completely under wraps and our daughter didn't realize where we were until we walked under the first sign "Disneyland this way" and she stopped, screamed/squealed out loud, "I KNOW WHERE WE ARE!!!" we asked, course she yelled out "DISNEYLAND!!!" As we stood in line to exchange our certificates for passes I couldn't believe we were there... we made it through such tough times and came out the other side and here we were... standing there with our daughter... to me it was like we won the lottery!  I started crying, and didn't stop for sometime... I cried off and on with happiness and knowing we had managed to pick ourselves up and did it! 

We are headed back in May 2009!  It's mommy's Birthday this time!  I love Disney, and if I had it my way when we finally do get ourselves another home built (hoping by the end of next year) it will have lots of Disney influence both inside and in the backyard... I have always wanted a fenced backyard and lots of those Disney yard figures and tons of Disney stuff everywhere!!  My hubby laughs and tells people... if we won the lottery, he'd be smart to buy stock in Disney... due to the fact that I will be buying so much Disney stuff... at least this way we'll get it back in stocks!  (LOL) Oh well!  Welcome to the Disney Freak-Nuts world!!! 

I am a nut too!

I have always wanted to go back to Disney since I was there in 1995 and this past July it finally happened. The bug has bitten me. I am now planning a surprise trip for 2009 in December.

I am also looking into DVC.

I have an intinerary ready for my adr's but I it will change a hundred times up until the park schedule comes out!

 

I'm a nut too. I have disney tickets and Universal tickets already for our2010 trip. But I have been thinking of using those Disney tickets to use during April 2009 just to experience Disney at a different time of year.

I think all of us in this group are disney nuts. We're going next week. it'll be my 12th time!
