Ordering a birthday cake

Has anyone ever ordered a custom make birthday cake at WDW? My daughter is turning 4 and we're celebrating her birthday dinner at 1900 Park fare. I've reading on disboards about the white chocolate Cinderella slipper filled with berries and I was thinking about getting it for her but I'm not sure. Do you think it's too much for a 4 yr old. Also we're celebrating my oldest daughter graduating from kindergarten there, so I wasn't sure what to do for her. We're having breakfast at Chef Mickey for her. I keep hear amazing things about Grand Floridan bakers.

I just had my b'day there last year and I'm pretty sure if you tell them while making reservations that there's a birthday...every where you go theres a b'day cake for you (or maybe it was a cupcake...so keep that in mind when you order the 'cake')

I called the dining reservation number and they were able to do the generic frozen cake.  It was pretty good (then again we are used to that for birthdays).  They could probably give you the number to call for the appropriate restaurants cake line.  I know that diff places have diff cake lines from what she was telling me.

Oh and the boys got cupcakes EVERYWHERE we went (I asked for them not to bring them and they still brought them at some places).

We took our Nephew with us in April 2009( his birthday was April 9th) because his parents don't go to amusement parks( they will go to Las Vegas and other gambling places but not amusement parks). We didn't do anything ahead of time because our gift to him was the trip but right before we sit at Crystal Palace I told the waiter.. He brought out confetti for the table( I guess to remind him) then at the end of our meal... without us saying anything else.... He brings out a cupcake and candle and we sing Happy Birthday. My nephew loved it because it was so unexpected.
