Okay so we are going to WDW in 1m 2wks.  I am a schedule person and I like to know what we are going to do ahead of time.  Tell me if this sounds okay....

Wake up kids at 4:30am to surprise them w/ a trip...have their Mickey Ears, Autograph books, Pens, and shirts ready for them when they wake up. Drive 12hrs down and Arrive around 6pm. Check into SOG. Take a bus to DTD for dinner at T-rex and shopping at Basin for mothers day. Then back to go to bed.

May 10th---DHS for our first day because they have EMH at night that day (and DH likes to take the kids to the Dance Party during EMH) (kids in blue shirt w/ green mickey head)

May 11th---Magic Kingdom for Rope drop and enjoy the day there. (red mickey shirt for kids)

May 12th---Epcot arriving whenever everyone is up for it.  Then 4:20 ADR at Garden Grill w/ Mickey, Pluto, Chip, & Dale as another surprise for the boys (army brat shirt for kids)

May 13th---Magic Kingdom for Early morning EMH and have fun our last day there. (Perry the Platypus T-shirt Day for whole family for a good pic infront of the castle)

May 14th Depart around 8am for home

I know it is not long that we are there, so I wanted to make sure we had fun.  Our kids never really enjoyed Animal Kingdom (nor did we for that matter except Expedition Everest), so we are skipping it.

We cant because DH was only granted 7 full days of leave (Sun-Sat).  We are used to the long drives anyway because we just did a PCS from TX-TN in Jan and that was heck.  At least there are things to see along the way other than desert more desert and more desert....LOL. We thought about splitting up the trip down, but then he was only given 7 days.  We did the drive down b4 in one day and it wasnt bad esp if we leave early morning.  Then one of us can sleep (and so will the kids) for a little and then we will swap off and the other will sleep for a bit.  We are prepped for the trip w/ Disney DVDs for the car, coloring pages (COLOR WONDER), and a DS & Gameboy for the kids (and of course snacks).

Looks good!  When we were there for 10 days two trips ago, we only were at AK for 1 day.  lol  The Lion King event was really good though.
