Our family loves Savannah and tybee they are so beautiful and rt next to each other that is where we had our week long destination wedding/family moon :)
Savannah is one of my favorite places in the country. Never been to Tybee, though.
Savannah is about a 3 hr drive for us.I love the beach but sadly, I havent been to Tybee.Savannah at night is beautiful in the fall-everything is decorated. We celebrated our 20th anniversary there a few years ago.One of my fave restaurants is the Pirate's House but would love to go to Paula Deen's place someday.
It is not a bad drive to Disney from there too!Great picture!

My DH brought me to Savannah a few yrs ago when we we're engaged for my bday weekend. It was so romantic and so needed but we didn't know we needed it if that makes sense. We immediately canceled our BIG over the top St Augustine Beach wedding for a perfect sept afternoon in Forsyth Park with our 4 children a white horse and white flower covered carriage and our very closest family members only it was so romantic and intimate. Now if you like Savannah believe me when I say take the 20 min ride. It is such a beautiful drive the kind where you roll the windows down and smell the cool ocean air holding hands like teenage puppy lovers! well we have now made it a point every 12-14 weeks taking the 3 hr ride up north to the most romantic place in our hearts for a weekend get away. Always find something new to do and something else to look forward to the next time.
I didn't realize this was a Disney group sorry.. Our fav disney vacation is the traditional 5 day park fun in Orlando!

I went to Savannah, GA several times during my childhood and Tybee. I named my second daughter Savannah because it's a beautiful place to visit and sounds beautiful. I can't wait to take my kids there some day. We live in Minnesota though so it won't be anytime soon. I might be a yankee but I love the south.
