Walt Disney World 10 Miler Tower of Terror Weekend.
Got this info off of the Disboards. I am SO DOING THIS! I'm going to scrap our Disneyland trip in June and do this instead. We normally go in September anyway, so really, this just fits.

Begin making reservations for this new race on February 14, 2012. Events this weekend will include The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler, a Family Fun Run 5K, Kids' Races and the Disney Villains Hollywood Bash post-race party!
This nighttime race will take you through ESPN Wide World of Sports, Hollywood Studios (including the Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show!) and end at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction!

Tickets to the event are included with registration to the 10-Miler race; friends and family can purchase tickets for $44 by 8/31/12 or $54 9/1/12 and after.
Do you have an iPod or an iPhone? I have a fantastic app called Couch to 5K. Its a training program that is seriously meant for beginners. Over 8 weeks it takes you from being a couch potato to being able to at least slow jog a 5K. It starts off super easy, for 30 minutes you walk for 2 minutes, run for 45 seconds at a time. I love it, it works you up gradually.

Fun! I'd love to do that but I've never been a great runner. Maybe I'll start practicing and try it :)

YEs I saw this and it's like a lot of fun, I too have been saying I want to do 5k and I have been trying to get to it lol I found on line a beginners training ( I don't have a cell phone so no ipod or ipone).
It would fun to hear all about your training and going to the 5k so you have to keep us up to date on it:)
ALso did you see something about the AK one?
Yes! I think the Expedition one at the AK sounds like a blast! I'm doing something similar in August here in Washington, only you get chased by zombies along the course while having to run and complete obstacles, LOL.
This one appeals to me because of the party Saturday night at DHS with the villain meet and greets.
