That is a lot of money. I couldn't come up with that either in our budget. We just got slammed with a bunch of unexpected expenses.
I am confused to why cant you and your family just go. If you guys are paying your own way anyways. I also agree that sometimes that much money is a bit too much for people. Besides Oct. is still a long way away so there is still time to save for the trip.
I am sorry to hear that but maybe you can do it with just your family?
We live in Miami FL and I don't have the $$$ for the parks and thanks to my mom and dad being DVCM's we get to go up just for the weekend, when we do this we do a dinner or breakfast that has Mickey at it so my DD can see "her Mickey" so maybe you can find a way to do this too:)

I know how disappointing it is! I cancelled our last year's trip in Oct so that my SIL & her family could move to a cheaper place.It took all that I had saved to pay for the deposit and utilities for them to move.My trip was paid in full too.It hurt to cancel.It is a lot of planning but I am really hoping to make it work for this October so we can trick or trick with Mickey.I hope you can work it out for your trip--
