I have never been to a Disney themed park but they sure look like they'd be a blast! Is it a guarantee that you see Mickey Mouse when you go? I just love Mickey Mouse!!!
Yes, we have the past few trips make sure to sure him by doing a breakfast or dinner he would be at, this next weekend trip I go on we'll do the same thing so my DD can see "her Mickey" lol, we are not going into the parks so I wanted to make sure she got to see him so YES I can say you can see him if you want to lol
In the multitude of times we've been to Disney World, I've never NOT seen him. There are usually a few designated character spots at each park. Occasionally you will see him walking around but in my experience, they are going from point A to point B. There is an app that you can use to find the characters. We used it last time we went in July.
Mickey is in buildings at MK and HS. I am not sure about his locations at the other parks, we never looked for him in them. DS had to see Mickey with the party hat(as he called it) at HS. that was the only 'real' Mickey to him. DD had to see the princesses in MK, Mickey was in the next room.
In MK he is in Town Square Theater. In HS he is in the Magic of Disney Animation building.
At Magic Kingdom, he is always in the parades and the show in front of the castle. And you can stand in line to do the meet and greet so you can get your photo with Mickey and Minnie. we never saw Mickey just walking around the park.
(There is also a meet and greet area at Animal Kingdom.. called Camp Mickey, I think... I can't remember, we didn't go there)
Pretty much . . . you catch a glimpse of him in a show or meeting guests (taking photos). But if you want to have your photo taken with him, you have to stand in line (unless you meet him at a Character meal).
