I have never been to a Disney themed park but they sure look like they'd be a blast! Is it a guarantee that you see Mickey Mouse when you go? I just love Mickey Mouse!!!

If you wait in line to see him, or book a dinner he's at yes. But he doesn't just wander around the park.

The last time I went to Disney was the FIRST time I saw Mickey! The other times I didn't, but then again I hadn't gone with a kid and didn't make it a priority. Now that they have character spots and dining, it's a lot easier.

In the multitude of times we've been to Disney World, I've never NOT seen him.   There are usually a few designated character spots at each park. Occasionally you will see him walking around but in my experience, they are going from point A to point B.  There is an app that you can use to find the characters.  We used it last time we went in July.

Mickey is in buildings at MK and HS.  I am not sure about his locations at the other parks, we never looked for him in them.  DS had to see Mickey with the party hat(as he called it) at HS.  that was the only 'real' Mickey to him.  DD had to see the princesses in MK, Mickey was in the next room.

In MK he is in Town Square Theater.  In HS he is in thMagic of Disney Animation building.

Sure you'll see him!! You need to know where he will be though. Each character stands in a spot to take pictures with their fans. If you know where & when ge will be in his designated location, you could get in line early enough to not get stuck waiting for hours!!

At Magic Kingdom, he is always in the parades and the show in front of the castle. And you can stand in line to do the meet and greet so you can get your photo with Mickey and Minnie. we never saw Mickey just walking around the park.

(There is also a meet and greet area at Animal Kingdom.. called Camp Mickey, I think... I can't remember, we didn't go there)

You almost have to TRY not to see him. He's in all the parades, lots of shows, multiple character meet n greets, and character dining places.

Pretty much . . . you catch a glimpse of him in a show or meeting guests (taking photos).  But if you want to have your photo taken with him, you have to stand in line (unless you meet him at a Character meal).
